-?Production -?Denmark - Måløv Novo Nordisk is building a new tableting and packaging factory in Måløv which will supply the market with semaglutide tablets and thus setting new standards for diabetes treatment. To succeed with this ambitious project, we need dedicated employees including an IT & Automation Professional with knowledge and drive to establish and ensure effective operation of IT & Automation on a new packaging line. About the department Oral Finished Products (OFP) Production will be a standalone production facility and will carry out all processes from receipt of raw materials to shipment of final product, packed and ready for the customer. At the time of launch we will be close to 100 employees working with Bulk Production, Pack Production and Warehouse. The department work in close cooperation with valued colleagues within the project organisation, manufacturing development, technical support, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. OFP Production will launch oral semaglutide and future oral products for market. The position As IT & Automation responsible on the packaging line, you will play a key role in our business critical efforts to establish a fully operational manufacturing facility. The new and complex packaging line, consist of various equipment from different vendors. You will actively participate in all aspects from construction until the packaging line and everything supporting the packaging process, is qualified and fully operational. To ensure that our project time lines and deliverables are met, you will have a close collaboration with suppliers, project team members and departments in Novo Nordisk. You and your team will specify, test and validate Automation and IT related requirements supporting the packaging process. Along with your colleagues, you will define and document operating procedures ensuring effective operation in GMP compliance. It will be your responsibility that new Automation and IT solutions meet our strict specifications, and you will be guiding external suppliers towards this goal in close collaboration with your colleagues. It is important when you apply for this job, that you can not only dedicate yourself to the current project phase, but also can dedicate yourself to real life production after the product has been launched. Being a Product Supply production facility we will ensure a robust production environment, where we continuously LEAN our processes. The facility is in construction phase so you will have a unique opportunity to influence and gain extensive insight of equipment and systems supporting our packaging process from the very beginning. Qualifications You are an automation engineer or have similar experienced background. As you have to provide manufacturing input to the project teams from almost day one, solid experience within manufacturing from pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. You have properly already worked with GMP and validation. Experience from secondary production with systems like PLC, SCADA, MES and/or Serialisation would be preferable. We expect you to excel at following through at a steady pace. You enjoy chasing sharp deadlines in a changing environment, and you are consistent in coming up with clever solutions to specific challenges.
