Attribute Leader - NVH

As Attribute Leader for NVH you and your attribute team colleagues (Attribute Leaders, CAE-, test and design engineers) are overall responsible for achieving a correctly balanced vehicle performance, ensuring that the final product corresponds to the market and technical specifications as well as target user needs and expectations.

The general work method is to define, communicate, follow up and, if needed, balance requirements and guidelines related to all NVH that together set the performance.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Responsibility for managing the NVH attribute within platform and top hat projects.

• Areas to cover: Powertrain NVH and Sound Quality, Road NVH, Operational Sound Quality, Windnoise, Sound package and Active Noise Control.

• Develop and support the cooperation between CEVT Sweden and CEVT China Energy teams.

• Create and communicate overall time plans for attribute deliveries during the project phases, drawing release, verification, launch etc. from project start to start of production.

• Develop and set complete vehicle- and system requirements for multiple platforms and Top Hats.

• Balance defined requirements between the attribute areas and communicate them as technical input to Design and Engineering department.

• Make sure that NVH test methods are created and stored in relevant databases.

• Develop verification plans for the attribute areas where needed. (CAE and Test activities)

• Support engineering departments in development of specifications, concept selections and supplier evaluations

• Support engineering departments in problem solving and design by working out constructive solution proposals

• Report overall timing, status, issues and solution proposals for the NVH attribute to project and in Design Verification Reviews.

• Summarize NVH performance at the end of project for final performance presentation.

• Contribute in developing, storage and usage of requirements and test method database.

• Support and plan benchmark of new technology and competitor performance.

• Propose Energy advanced engineering activities needed to support future products.

Profile and Background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering (Design, Mechanical or Industrial)

• Experience from leading NVH attribute areas within automotive industry.

• Attribute Engineering experience.

• Knowledge of automotive architecture definitions, standards and requirements

• Strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive issues

• Analytic and problem solving mindset

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to interact effectively with
