-?Procurement -?Denmark - Bagsværd Join Novo Nordisk and make your personal contribution to our position as the world leader in diabetes care. In Strategic Sourcing Business Support, you will play an important role in Strategic Sourcing delivering on its core responsibilities. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for the medium and long term strategic sourcing activities, which involves global identification and strategic management of suppliers for Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites. You will be part of Business Support, where we drive cross-unit projects and contribute with value adding quality, financial, commercial and market intelligence support to the other 6 departments in Strategic Sourcing, as well as define various standards and processes which are used in sourcing activities across Product Supply. You will enter a thorough, yet fast-paced and ambitious environment where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside Strategic Sourcing. You will be located in Bagsværd, where 12 competent colleagues in the Business Support team look forward to welcoming you. The position As Associate Project Manager, your primary role will be to participate in Novo Nordisk’s site roll-out and continued development and use of a new procurement model which is to be introduced and used across production sites and a number of other functions in Novo Nordisk. In this role, you will act as Track Lead in training colleagues in the logic behind the model and how it influences their way of working. The model addresses how to act when a need to purchase a material arises, the process of selecting a supplier, and consequent monitoring of supplier quality performance. In the training, you will support the sites analysis and classification of spend, and make sure that users in all above mentioned process steps know and follow the process and that tools are made available. You will balance your time between detailed analysis and stakeholder management on different organisational levels from operators to management. Delivering on above will be a goal you will share with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) owners, other Sourcing functions and colleagues in Strategic Sourcing Business Support. With the large user and stakeholder landscape, it is important to secure the continuous alignment with regulatory requirements and the organisations development. Contributing to this with your strong analytical perspective, leanings from the roll out, and structured way of working, will over time become a larger part of you role. This will be in the form of assignments and smaller scale projects as supporting SOP writing, operationalise Process Group activities in compliance and quality matters. You will collaborate closely with the Process Group Responsible who is responsible for coordinating that the roll out and the procurement model itself is continuously aligned with regulatory requirements. Travel activity will under normal circumstances likely not exceed 10 days per year. In the roll out period it may however be between 30 to 50 days. You will report to Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing Business Support, but have most of your day to day sparring with the experienced Quality Assurance (QA) group in the department. Qualifications You hold a relevant academic degree in Pharmaceutical science, Business, Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 3 year experience. Experience with project oriented work and horizontal and vertical stakeholder management is a clear advantage. Experience with regulatory requirements within the either the drug, device or procurement area will be an advantage. The same goes for general experience within a sourcing or supply chain environment and quality process. You are able to understand the larger picture of things you are engaged in, and manage to translate that in to both communication tasks
