About the department The role of Associate Global Medical Director for haemophilia/haemostasis sits within the Global Medical Affairs Haemophilia/ Biopharm team based in Zurich, Switzerland reporting to the Vice President Global Medical Affairs Biopharm. In this function you will be a member of a team of Global Medical/Scientific professionals covering all indications for commercially available as well as pipeline products within haemophilia and rare bleeding disorders. Working in a truly global role the successful applicant will be working closely with the medical affairs teams in affiliates, Global Research and Development and Marketing teams to provide medical affairs expertise for marketed products and haemophilia pipeline products. In this role you have the possibility to successfully develop and execute the Global Medical Affairs strategy. The Job You will act as a medical affairs leader through building, interpreting and communicating the deepest medical knowledge within the haemophilia portfolio, ensure appropriate scientific communication internally and externally and coordinate and lead global medical affairs projects within haemophilia and rare bleeding disorders. Furthermore, you will give medical and scientific guidance on selected global initiatives within the Haemophilia Global Development and Global Marketing Project teams and will deliver specific medical affairs expertise to promotional material and marketing plans. You will also be responsible for leading or providing input into global medical/scientific education activities, conferences, symposia, publication strategy, advisory boards and provide input to product development plans for haemophilia portfolio molecules. The position will require strategic skills, personal leadership and stakeholder alignment to deliver impactful contribution in cross-functional project teams. Qualifications•MD (medical doctor degree) combined with minimum 5 years’ in pharma of which min. 3 years’ experience in Medical Affairs (preferably with haematology/haemophilia background) •Experience from a headquarter based global role in pharma is a must (combined with deep expertise in the medical affairs pharmaceutical industry, preferably in haematology/haemophilia) •Open minded, dynamic and outgoing team player with track record of leading innovative medical projects with high scientific impact •Able to perform in a highly dynamic, challenging and diverse environment, can communicate with clarity, able to carry tasks under pressure and deliver quality results on time •Strong business acumen, stakeholder management and communication skills, including scientific communication, data analysis and interpretation. •High level of proficiency in verbal and written English •Readiness to travel internationally (approximately 30%) Contact If you believe you are qualified, and are willing to take the challenge, please send your motivation letter, CV and relevant documentation directly via our online application tool.
