Obesity & Liver Disease, Metabolic Disease Research, Global Research is seeking a new colleague to take up the position as VP Assistant temporarily from 15 May 2017 – 15 April 2018. About the department: Obesity & Liver Disease VP area is part of Global Research and consists of 5 departments with a total of 95 employees. Obesity & Liver Disease is responsible for in vitro biology, in vivo pharmacology and generating new project ideas within obesity and liver disease. The position: As VP Assistant you will report to and be Personal Assistant (PA) for the Vice President (VP) of Obesity & Liver Disease. Furthermore you will support our departments and the Management team. Besides the PA role the job covers a broad range of administrative tasks, e.g. monthly budget follow-up and quarterly adjustments, various HR tasks, preparing meeting agendas and writing minutes, expense reporting, purchasing of supplies and services, booking of travel and other ad hoc administrative tasks. You will arrange and participate in management meetings, area meetings and function days. You will work in a dynamic and challenging high performing environment under constant development and closely together with the VP, the management team, as well as administrative staff across our Corporate Vice President (CVP) area. Qualifications: You have an administrative background and preferably you have administrative experience from a similar role within Novo Nordisk. We are looking for an outgoing flexible person with experience in administrative support. You have a proactive approach to the job. As person you are enthusiastic and engaged. You have a can-do attitude; enjoy working under tight deadlines and master good coordination skills. You work in a structured manner with a sense for the details. You have good communication skills and are proficient with both written and spoken Danish and English. Finally you have excellent skills in MS office and find it easy to master new IT systems. Knowledge of Novo Nordisk systems such as GlobeShare, SAP (Budget planning), Portal2People, Recruit and other administrative tools are an advantage.
