ASC Primary Teacher Location : Oldham: Greater Manchester The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a large, SEN Primary school in the Oldham area, as they look to recruit an ASC Primary teacher. The post is to start in September 2017. The school is part of a multi academy trust where the pupils age between 4:19 years with a post 19 provision. All pupils will have a statement of SEN or EHCP. The school provides academic and social development opportunities for all their young people as they move in to being adults. With small classes, teachers work closely with support staff to provide the best learning experience and personalised learning journey. The Education Network would like to hear from energetic, highly motivated teachers with specialist knowledge of SEN and Autism, with experience of teaching primary across all Key stages, who are interested in this exciting, challenging, permanent role. The school has high expectations to inspire motivate and challenge pupils while keeping their interest in academic studies and achievement. They strive to set goals which stretch and challenge pupils of all abilities, backgrounds and dispositions which promotes the love of learning. A key focus of the school is effectively planned homework which consolidates learning and improves student/parent engagement. To be considered for this role, you must have the following: : Experience working with differing levels of SEN : UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : Achieved via PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, or other recognised route : Ability to work with a wide age range : To be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge the is up to date : Promote good outcomes and progression : Good differentiation when planning : Able to manage behaviours effectively to maintain a safe learning environment. : Team Teach or similar with physical intervention : PECs : Able to work with parents in the best interests of the pupils : A passion to make a difference : Patience to overcome barriers to learning : Own transport as working across sites .
