Due to the expansion of our business we are seeking to fill a Accounts/ Office manager Position in our Tramore Offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the day to day financial activities of the company, reporting to the Managing Directors. The role involves managing both sage 50 Accounts Payable and Receivable, sage payroll in a busy commercial environment. Duties and responsibilities: • Record supplier invoices and maintain creditors ledger • Dealing with queries on supplier invoices, reconciling accounts and managing payment runs • Resolving customer accounts queries in a timely manner • Setting up new customer accounts • Maintaining debtors ledger, credit control • Bank lodgements, direct debit payments, handling cash payments. • Preparation of VAT returns, P30 returns, • Preparation of month end accounts on Sales/Purchases/Nominal • Preparation of month end journals, bank reconciliations, to Trial Balance stage. Dealing with year end requirements for the Accountant • Processing employee payroll (Sage) • Pricing controls, cash flow management • Insurance renewals, van leasing, motor tax renewals • Other Ad-hoc duties will evolve with this role. Experience & Qualification required: • Accounting Technician qualification or qualified by experience • 3+ years accounts experience in a similar environment • Experience in the Building sector an advantage • Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy. • Advanced excel skills and experience working with other accounting software packages • Ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines. Managing and prioritising workload on a weekly/monthly basis. • Ability to work with our customer Groups • Have good initiative to implement changes and excellent communication skills to deal with customers/suppliers/staff/directors.
